Planning a funeral in the wake of losing a loved one can leave you feeling lost and exhausted.

It can be a tough time and compiling funeral orders of servicefuneral announcement cards and memorial cards whilst managing other tasks, all while being in mourning, can be an exhausting experience.

So, to help you create a thoughtful and properly commemorative order of service, you can use this checklist that we’ve compiled to help you every step of the way.

Firstly, choose your design.

We have a wide range of order of service templates for you to choose from, all of which can be tailored to fit your choices.

Have a look at our range of templates, which include sample images and text to help you envision which design would work for you to create the perfect tribute for your loved one.

Next, decide how many pages you will need.

Generally, you will require one page for each Hymn or Psalm.

For example, two hymns along with prayers and readings, plus a front and a back cover would give you a standard 4-page A5 funeral order of service booklet.

Although it is completely possible to add additional photos, poems or anything else that you think would be fitting, to our order of service templates to create an 8-page, or even 12-page funeral order of service booklets.
